I & J Management Services is a small consulting company specialising in delivery of high quality information and business management services for public libraries.

We have a reputation for:

Established in 1998, and based on the outskirts of Melbourne in Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges, we spent our first 20 years conducting program evaluations, statistical analysis and business planning with a wide range of public and private sector clients in many different industries. Most of our work was in:

  • school and vocational education

  • human services

  • libraries

  • information and communications technology (ICT)

We have also worked with major corporate and government agencies in finance and banking, telecommunications, building and construction, and workplace health and safety.

Since 2019 we have focused our energies and expertise in working with public libraries – local, state and national in all states and territories. We conduct library reviews, benchmark performance and develop strategic plans that help our clients to be the reading, learning, recreational and social hubs that their communities want, need and deserve.
