Position: Director, I & J Management Services from 1998.

Experience: Ian established I & J Management Services in 1998 to provide consulting services to enable clients to better access and use qualitative and quantitative information to support their strategic, tactical and operational decision-making.

Ian has considerable research experience, and has led around 60 reviews and evaluations for government agencies in relation to educational outcomes, governance, professional learning, innovation and effective use of technology, community partnerships and workforce reform. Ian has also managed projects related to e-learning, community development, and industry programs. With qualifications in statistics Ian has specific expertise in data collection and statistical analysis, and performance measurement and indicators.

Current clients include: Department of Education and Training; Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources; State Library of Victoria; ANZ; Bupa; Telstra.

Ian has excellent written and verbal communication skills. He has authored many well-regarded project reports and presented to Ministers, senior corporate executives, program staff and community groups. Ian is an experienced project manager and facilitator with a track record of working collaboratively with clients to efficiently achieve consulting outcomes on time and on budget.

Experience: Carol has had a major role in a number of research, consultation and evaluation projects, including several for the State Library, public libraries, DET, DHS, DPC, DEDJTR and other government and community-development agencies. She is an experienced social policy analyst and researcher who has worked in commonwealth and state government, the community sector and academia. She has specialist skills in evaluation, applied research and knowledge management.

Carol has a demonstrated track record in the design and delivery of projects that meet clients’ needs in a creative and cost effective manner. Carol has strong technical skills covering program evaluation and specification of key performance indicators, research methods, organisational analysis, and community consultation.

Carol is a confident and effective communicator who enjoys working with diverse groups to produce practical outcomes. She has led consultation processes with participants ranging from CEOs and senior executives to grass roots community volunteers.

She has a proven capacity to develop and manage complex work programs and has established executive sponsorship, steering committees and processes for project monitoring and communication.

Position: Senior Consultant, I & J Management Services from 2005.

Experience:  Jacqui taught science and mathematics in a Catholic secondary school for eight years and retains an active personal interest in pedagogical practice and developments. Since 2005 Jacqui has worked for I & J Management Services on a range of evaluation projects, primarily in the education sector, involving stakeholder consultation and collection, analysis and presentation of qualitative and quantitative information. Current and recent clients include DET, CEO, DEDJTR, SLV and many public libraries.

Jacqui has solid analytical, client consultation and organisational skills. Through a deep understanding of teacher professional practice and school operations she is able to quickly establish a trust relationship with school leaders and staff and efficiently gather necessary evaluation information and examples of effective practice, as well as accurately identifying factors which enhance or inhibit improved educational strategies and outcomes.

Jacqui manages all of I & J Management Services’ survey development, administration and analysis work – including small scale surveys and those with more than 10,000 responses.
